Education and Training

Lisa has been treating clients since 2004. She completed her 4 year graduate education at Southwest Acupuncture College where she completed over 3,300 hours of training in the five branches of Oriental Medicine. Her training included diagnosis, acupuncture, herbal prescribing, nutrition, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, electrical stimulation, and functional medicine.

She is a designated Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (DiplOM) by the National Committee for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. She has advanced clinical training in the treatment of addiction and trauma, mental health, sports medicine, women’s health, NAET allergy elimination, Esoteric Acupuncture and is a NADA trained addictions specialist. She has also completed two intensive seminars in Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture.

Lisa has BS degrees in psychology and communications and has over eight years of experience working as a counselor. She also is a certified Satori lifestyle coach. Please see below for a list of her licenses and certifications.
